Hello: I have a bill from an oral surgeon for the above (occlusal guard for tmj disordder) and it has been denied by Medicare stating dental services. The provider confirmed this is indeed medical. Shall I appeal this or send to my secondary (BCBS)? Also, is there a better code to establish medical? Please advise. Thank you, Carole Nelson
