Dear Courtney and/or Other Helpful People, I”m submitting a form to BCBS for the following services and would like the correct medical equivalent for the codes below: D9940 – Occlusal guard (for TMD and bruxism, guard is removable) D0470 – Diagnostic casts D9950 – Occlusion analysis of mounted casts D0150 – Comprehensive exam D9943 – Occlusal guard adjustment I have a plethora of applicable medical codes, but I”m not sure which of the ones I have match up (i.e. 20605, 21010, 21050, 21060, 21070, 21073, 21240, 21242, 21243, 29800, 29804, 21116, 21499, 21299).
