I had a gearbox warning flash up on my F430 last week while I was out for a drive and the car briefly would not go into gear before sorting itself out. It has not happened again but I am not about to ignore it on a car like this. I know the F1 gearbox on these can be sensitive and I do not want someone without proper Ferrari experience touching it. I came across https://gearboxrepairsharjah.ae/brands/ferrari/ while searching but I am nowhere near booking anything, just trying to understand my options. Has anyone here had similar warnings on their Ferrari and what did it turn out to be? Was it a sensor, the clutch wear reading, or something in the hydraulics? Also is it generally safe to keep driving it around town while I sort out where to take it, or should I be parking it until I get it checked.
