What is the best narrative to give when sending the insurance a request for authorization for a CT scan? Per Arch and Both Arches?
Hi Victoria! The best narrative to send to request authorization is always one specific to the patient. You”ll want to be sure to include information such as: the patient”s chief complaints, any pertinent medical history, exam findings, and the provider”s reason for needing a CT scan vs. a lesser x-ray such as a pano or ceph.
