My Mini’s developed a weird shudder at traffic lights, any ideas?

I’ve had my Mini Cooper for a couple of years now and it’s been a blast to drive around the city, but just last week it started doing this strange thing where it shudders a bit when I’m stopped at a red light with my foot on the brake. It doesn’t happen every time, maybe only after I’ve been driving for a while and the engine’s warmed up. I’m really hoping it’s not something major like a transmission issue or an engine mount, but I’m not super mechanically minded so I don’t want to start poking around under the bonnet myself. I remember reading that they can be a bit sensitive to the heat here, so I’m wondering if it’s something simple like a spark plug or a dirty sensor. Has anyone else experienced this with their Mini in the UAE climate? I work over in the Mussafah area and I was thinking of looking for a workshop nearby that I could pop into after work. I’ve actually had a Quick Mini Cooper repair service in Abu Dhabi recommended to me by a colleague who drives a Countryman, so I’m thinking of giving them a call. I just want to get it sorted before it turns into something more serious and expensive.
