HELP. The insurance keeps kicking the medical claim to dental because I have dental codes for procedures. Can you please give me the medical codes for for; D0340 D0470 D0350 D8090 Thanks

D0340 – 2D cephalometric radiographic image – acquisition, measurement and analysis can be crosscoded to: 70350 – Cephalogram, orthodontic 70250 x-ray lateral skull D0470 – diagnostic casts can be crosscoded to: 99070 – special supplies & materials A4580 – cast supplies (e.g. plaster) D0350 – 2D oral/facial photographic image obtained intra-orally or extra-orally can be crosscoded to: 99070 – special supplies & materials D8090 – comprehensive orthodontic treatment of the adult dentition can be crosscoded to: 21110 – Application of interdental fixation device for conditions other than fracture or dislocation, include removal **be sure to include a narrative report that describes the procedures and/or supplies, as 99070 is a very miscellaneous code and when using 21110 for orthodontic treatments, a clear description of how it is being used should be supplied so the insurers does not misconstrue that is it a surgical treatment.
