D7951 – sinus augmentation with bone or bone substitutes via a lateral open approach D7952 – sinus augmentation via a vertical approach can be crosscoded to: 21210 – graft, bone; nasal, maxillary, or malar areas *use -52 modifier for reduced services when bone is not obtained from the patient As for the ICD-10 (diagnosis) codes – it all depends on why the patient is receiving the services, in other words, what conditions/symptoms are these services treating? For example, some common diagnosis codes used for sinus augmentation are: K08.24 – Minimal atrophy of maxilla K08.25 – Moderate atrophy of the maxilla K08.26 – Severe atrophy of the maxilla Hope this helps!
