So my sedan decided to completely give up on me this evening right in the middle of ICAD, and I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out who to call because I’m not really familiar with the area and I don’t want to end up waiting hours for someone who never shows up. The battery light had been flickering for a few days but I stupidly ignored it, and now I’m paying the price with a car that won’t even crank. I’ve heard there are a few recovery companies based around Mussafah that cover ICAD, which makes sense because it’s all part of the same industrial belt, and many of them operate 24/7 with quick response times for emergencies like this . I’m looking for something that covers a proper range of roadside issues beyond just towing, because I’d rather get a jumpstart or a battery test done on the spot than have to arrange a full recovery if it’s something simple . I came across mention of some Top roadside assistance in ICAD, but honestly I’d rather get a recommendation from someone who’s actually used a service around here recently. Has anyone used a recovery company in this area and can tell me who’s reliable and actually shows up when they say they will? I’m particularly keen to know if they offer on-site battery testing and jumpstarts, or if they just default to towing everything straight to a garage. Any recommendations would be massively appreciated because I’m stuck here and I need to get this sorted before it gets too late.
