Dental coding is not really out forte like medical coding is, but here are some possibilities for you below! 21085 – Impression and custom preparation; oral surgical splint Can be crosscoded to: D5988 – surgical splint 70140 – x-ray facial bones less than 3 Can be crosscoded to: D0290 – posterior-anterior or lateral skull and facial bone survey radiographic image 70250 x-ray lateral skull Can be crosscoded to: D0340 – 2D cephalometric radiographic image – acquisition, measurement and analysis 76100 – radiologic examination, single plane body section (eg, tomography), other than with urography Cam be crosscoded to: D0322 – tomographic survey 77077 – Joint survey, single view, 2 or more joints (specify) 95868 – electromyography,head; needle, bilatateral 95937 – neuromuscular junction testing (repetitive stimulation, paired stimuli) each nerve, any one method) The codes listed above do not have a direct CDT crosscode are aware of.
